To provide psychosocial aid to people in crisis and with mental health problems; To develop the infrastructures for the systematic change, distribution of knowledge and expertise through training, consultations, internships in services and multiplication of services for relevant organizations (including gatekeepers- Family Medicine Centres, GPs, schools, relevant NGOs) in Tbilisi and regions and replication of psychosocial and crisis aid services in regions. Participation in Mental Health Policy development;

Name: Foundation “Global Initiative on Psychiatry (GIP)-Tbilisi”


Mission:

Global Initiative on Psychiatry-Tbilisi aims to:

  • Promote humane, ethical and effective mental health care

Global Initiative on Psychiatry-Tbilisi is a support organization, it assists governments, international agencies, NGOs, universities and other development institutions in Caucasus and Central Asia to execute projects across the whole spectrum of mental health care, and well as follows:

Name: Georgian Allienace For Patient Safety

Mission:
To contribute to the improvement of the quality of health services, to assist in development of patient centered health care system in Georgia, to prevent, detect and mitigate  side effects of adverse events in medicine,
to support creation of safe environment and optimal conditions in health services, to establishm  the system for anonimous registration of errors made by medical personnel in their professional activities, to establishm the system for anonimous registration of cases of violation of individual and social rights of citizens in the field of health care, to establishm the system for prediction and prevention of medical errors, to train in medical errors or risk management, to promote the necessary legislative initiatives in this field and to raise public awareness.

Name: The Georgian Center for Psychosocial and Medical Rehabilitation of Torture Victims

Mission:
GCRT contributes to the prevention of practice of torture and successful rehabilitation of torture survivors in Georgia, supports international and national initiatives, organizations and agencies directed against inhuman and cruel actions, supports formation of healthy nation and civic society in Georgia.

GCRT also contributes to the rise of public awareness on the issues of torture and its consequences, detects and monitors the cases of torture, contributes to reduction of the cases of torture, empowers the protection of the rights of the torture survivors, supports the development of the sphere of psycho traumatology in Georgia.
